Professional geologist with 36 years experience in the mining industry, specializing in the discovery and development of mineral deposits.

From 1976 to 1982, worked as project geologist managing mineral exploration programs for uranium, base metals and precious metals across Canada for Noranda Mines, Shell Minerals and Chevron Minerals.
Between 1983 and 1987, owned and operated Cooke Geological Consultants Ltd., discovering and developing several high grade gold vein deposits for clients in British Columbia.
In 1988, launched Canarc Resource Corp. and has overseen its growth since that time, acquiring, financing, exploring and developing gold mining properties throughout North, Central and South America.
Participated in several grass roots gold discoveries over the past 27 years.
Published several geological/geochemical papers in leading technical journals.
Member in good standing of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, The Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the B.C.- Yukon Chamber of Mines, and a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada.

Garry Biles, P. Eng.,
President and COO

Mr. Biles is a professional engineer with more than 38 years experience, including 16 years as General Manager of 4 producing mines

From 1975 to 1994 held Superintendent and General Manager positions for a number of Canadian mining operations including Falconbridge, Cypress Anvil, Corona and Claude Resources
From 1994 to 2002 started as Mine Manager eventually becoming General Manager of Barrick's rich Eskay Creek mine in Smithers, BC
From 2003-2006 was the General Manager of the Bellavista gold mine in Costa Rica for Glencairn Gold, where he supervised the development from start-up through to commercial production in 2006.
Has excelled at maximizing gold mining operations, achieving production and cost targets and establishing excellent track records for safety first, environmental leadership and strong relations with employees and First Nations.

From 1988 to 1997, acted as controller, treasurer and/or associate for Canadian Connection Group, Can-Chi Group and Corporate House, responsible for all accounting, reporting and management functions for private and public companies.
From 1997 to 2003 acted as Controller for Augusta Group, overseeing all accounting and reporting activities for publicly-listed mineral exploration companies.
Has acted as Chief Financial Officer, Vice-President (Finance) and/or Controller for Canarc Resource Corp. (since 2003), Aztec Metals Corp. (since 2003), Endeavour Silver Corp. (from 2003 to 2007) and Parallel Resources Ltd. (from 2009 to 2011).

James Moors, B.Sc., P.Geo.
Vice President, Exploration

Professional geologist with 24 years experience in the mining sector, specializing in exploration for and discovery of precious metal deposits.
B.Sc. Geology (Honours) degree, University of Waterloo ON, 1988.
From 1988 to 1992, worked with junior and major companies exploring for precious and base metal deposits in northern Ontario, Nunavut, and the Iskut River area of northern B.C.
Joined Canarc Resource Corp. in 1993 as Project Geologist for the New Polaris Property and numerous gold exploration projects in Venezuela.
Between 1995 and 1999, evaluated and managed precious metal exploration projects for Homestake Canada Inc. at the Snip Mine property and near the Eskay Creek Mine in the Iskut River area of northwestern BC.
Served as Director of Information for the British Columbia &Yukon Chamber of Mines, managing database, communications, and education programs until 2002.
Returned to Canarc and Endeavour Silver Corp. in 2002 to manage property evaluations, exploration programs, and computer applications for projects across the Americas.

Gregg Wilson, M.SCI.

Investor Relations professional with over 15 years experience and an extensive background in administration, and management.
Received Masters degree in 1984 from Maharishi University of Management.
Completed the certified Canadian Securities Course in 2001.
Joined Canarc in 2002 to manage investor relations and marketing and subsequently developed initial IR programs for Endeavour Silver Corp.
Prior to joining Canarc, held positions as Vice-President of Governors Technologies Inc., a proprietary oil technology firm and with Unity Petroleum Inc., a Canadian Oil and Gas exploration company focused on discovering and exploiting natural gas pools in Western Canada.

Leonard Harris, Metallurgical Engineer
Director

Professional engineer with 50 years experience in all aspects of mineral processing and mining operations world wide, including the construction of the Yanacocha gold mine in Peru.
Metallurgy diploma, Mount Morgan Technical College, Queensland, AU, 1949.
From 1943 to 1974, acted as metallurgist in various mining operations in Australia, Ghana and Peru, with Mount Morgan, MIM, Radium Hill, Tarkwa and Aboso Mines, Cerro de Pasco, Texada and Cerro Corp.
Between 1974 and 1995, was senior executive with Newmont Mining including VP, Research and Development, VP Metallurgical Operations, VP Newmont Latin America and President, Newmont Peru, responsible for the construction and operation of the Yanacocha Gold Mine, which is today one of the largest gold mines in the world.
Since 1995, consultant and Director of several small cap mining companies including Glamis Gold, Solitario Resources, Alamos Minerals, Corriente Resources, Cardero Resources, Canarc Resource Corp. and Endeavour Silver Corp.

W. Derek Bullock, P.Eng
Director

Mining Engineer with over 30 years of mine operating, engineering, and consulting experience to the Canarc Board of Directors.
Worked for Ashanti Gold Mines in Ghana and Dames and Moore in Canada.
Since 1980, has been President of Bullock Engineering Corporation, a Canadian mining and mineral resources consulting and management organization.
Hands-on experience in the mining industry has taken him from the position of contract miner to Superintendent of Mining Engineering, giving him exceptional skills in mining operation and management.
Most recently, was President and continues to be a Director of Iamgold, a mid-tier gold producer.

Mr. William Price
Director

Mr. Price brings to Canarc a wealth of experience and expertise in the financial world, having recently retired as the Chairman, CEO and CIO of RCM Capital Management LLC (formerly Dresdner RCM Global Investors LLC) and Global Chief Investment Officer of Allianz Global Investors AG.
A research analyst in the 1960's for well recognized firms in the US equity markets, and portfolio manager with Donaldson, Lufkin, Jenrette in 1970.
In 1977, as an early partner in RCM Capital Management, he ultimately led the Company as CEO. RCM had more than US$ 30 billion under management upon his retirement in 2003.
As Global Equity Chief Investment Officer for Allianz Global Investors, one of the largest fund management companies in the world, Mr. Price was responsible for over US$ 500 billion under management. He continues to be a Guest Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is Chairman of the William L. Price Charitable Foundation.

His significant experience in the last ten years has been VP Operations for Endeavour Silver Corp., General Manager for Kinross Gold USA Inc., at the Lupin Mine, General Manager of the Lead Mine in South Dakota and the Snip Mine in British Columbia for Homestake Mining Company.
Prior to that he was the Mine Superintendent at Eskay Creek in British Columbia for Homestake and Chief Engineer and Mine Superintendent at the David Bell Mine.
